I work in oil pastels. Not because it’s the most respected medium, but because it’s the most alive. Immediate, physical, unforgiving in the best way. I’ve been championing it as the underdog of the art world ever since I picked it up, and I’m not stopping.

My paintings are about bodies, color, strength, and the emotional texture of everyday life. Bold color. Expressive line. Work that doesn’t apologize for taking up space. I’m drawn to themes of femininity, physicality, and what it means to feel powerful in your own skin.

Outside the studio, I’m the CMO of Skybound Fitness, a strength training studio in Malden, MA—where art and physical strength live in the same building in my head, even if not literally. I’m also the founder of ART BLOCK, a free weekly gathering for people across Greater Boston who want to make things and make friends.
